At PCMD Ltd we develop telemedicine system for ECG signal analysis. We develop a web-based platform that works as a deposit for ECG measurements. All the measurements will be at the doctor’s insight and will be analysed with special analytic tools, developed in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana and other partners from abroad.
In the first phase we will employ the already existing clinical portable PC ECG devices to measure the ECG signal. In the second phase we plan to replace the measuring device by a cheaper one, developed within the company and optimised for the transfer of measurements to the web.
Telemedicine enables patients to use medical services via internet (communication with the doctor, automated analysis of the measured data at a distant location etc.)
To achieve a successful telemedicine is to establish a user friendly and useful web-based application and a low-cost, small and advanced medical measuring device that can be linked from a personal PC to the web.
