Innotek is a Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) established in 1987. It’s a public-private partnership with 23 members out of industry, regional authorities, intermediary organisations, a educational institute and 3 major research centers. Its primary goal is to stimulate entrepreneurship as well as innovation as a driver for sustainable regional economic development. Its main fields of activities are :
- dissemination of information on technology and innovation (seminars, workshops, information sessions)
- stimulation of entrepreneurship, e.g. by spotting and measuring spin-off potential and guiding the spin-off start-up
- innovation counseling for small and medium sized enterprises (business planning, feasibility studies, R&D projects, strategy and new business development, transfer of technology)
- management of a business incubator and a Technology Zone for high-tech companies
- promotion of a seed capital fund (Seed Capital Fund Kempen)
- research on innovative ways of working especially teleworking
Innotek has well experienced people with following education: civil engineer of which one with an MBA-degree, university managerial economist, university chemist, high school economist, ….
